What Are The Core Beliefs Of

Longview's #1
Plevic Health expert
Sarah Lowe?

Me and my team at Vital Life PT cut through the confusion and taboo surrounding pelvic health with transparent, clear guidance. Unlike the mixed advice you might receive elsewhere, we provide a realistic understanding of your recovery journey, making it easier for you to start improving.

BELIEF #1 – EVERY PATIENT DESERVES TIME TO BE HEARD
As a pelvic floor physical therapist, I strongly believe that each person deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued during their sessions. Pelvic floor issues are often complex and involve a detailed history, so I prioritize giving patients enough time - not only during the initial visit but also in follow-ups - to share their story. This allows me to understand all the factors contributing to their condition and ensures they don’t feel rushed or treated as just another number in the system.
BELIEF #2 – NATURAL AND HANDS-ON TREATMENTS SHOULD BE THE FIRST OPTION
I am committed to helping my patients explore natural and hands-on treatments before considering pills, medications, or surgery. While surgery can be a helpful option, it should always be a last resort. My approach includes addressing stress management, improving sleep quality, and working on other life factors contributing to the condition. By doing so, I aim to empower patients to manage their symptoms and potentially avoid surgery whenever possible.
BELIEF #3 – EDUCATION EMPOWERS PATIENTS TO TAKE OWNERSHIP OF THEIR HEALING
Educating patients is at the heart of my practice. I believe that the more patients understand about their condition, the more they can take ownership of their healing journey - not only during our sessions but also in between appointments and long after they’ve been discharged. Sharing knowledge equips them with the skills and confidence to manage their condition independently, promoting long-term health and resilience
BELIEF #4 – ONGOING SUPPORT BUILDS LIFELONG CONFIDENCE
Even after completing one-on-one sessions, I ensure patients know they are welcome to return for maintenance visits. Whether it’s addressing flare-ups, revising home exercise programs, or learning new tools, I provide ongoing support as a trusted partner in their healing journey. This continuity helps patients feel secure, knowing they have a reliable resource to turn to as they progress through life.
