Who Are The Patients Being Helped By

Pelvic Health Expert
Sarah Lowe?

I’ve worked with many women who suffered from pelvic health issues over the years. Some have tried stretches or exercises they found on the internet or social media. Others have used different medications, whether for pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, or bladder frequency issues. Some have even undergone surgery. Ultimately, these women – from all stages of life – have walked through the doors of Vital Life Physical Therapy because, for one reason or another, those methods did not lead to the results they were hoping for.

Who Does Sarah Lowe Help?

Pelvic health is a very complex issue. It can involve pain experienced from a young age, such as during the first stages of being sexually active, making it difficult to enjoy intimacy with a partner. It can also include postpartum pain – particularly for women who experienced significant tearing that required stitching, which may have caused tightening in the pelvic floor muscles. Leakage issues can also prevent people from enjoying social activities, like shopping or spending time with friends, due to the fear of embarrassing accidents in public.

All these issues highlight how pelvic health challenges can impact a person’s ability to enjoy life – whether it’s intimacy with a partner, participating in social outings, or even running essential errands.

That’s why I take a very global approach to my assessments. I consider all the factors that could be contributing to someone’s symptoms, which is not something you can get from watching videos on social media, taking a pill, or even undergoing surgery. In fact, surgery can sometimes lead to scar tissue, which can cause pain too.

Many other medical providers, such as surgeons, urologists, or OBs, often have very limited time to spend with their patients. This makes it difficult for them to truly get to the root cause and address the various factors contributing to pelvic health issues.

I pride myself on taking the time to sit down with my patients, listen to their concerns, and problem-solve all the different areas of their lives that may be contributing to their symptoms. This includes considering how these challenges impact daily life – whether it’s their relationship with a spouse or significant other, their role as a parent, or their social interactions with friends.

What Makes My Treatments Different?

Unlike conventional treatments that may rely heavily on medications or quick interventions, I emphasize understanding and addressing the root causes of pain and dysfunction. My methodology includes posture correction, movement analysis, and the release of tight muscles and soft tissues that have become constricted over time.

My background in orthopedic therapy and specialization in John Barnes Myofascial Release enables me to adopt a global perspective in treatment, considering factors beyond the immediate area of discomfort. This holistic approach ensures that all potential contributors to a patient’s condition are evaluated and addressed.

At Vital Life Physical Therapy, I provide individualized care, dedicating ample time to each patient to ensure they feel heard and understood. This personalized attention allows for the development of tailored treatment plans that focus on long-term relief and improved quality of life, rather than simply managing symptoms.

RUBY CANIDA – LONGVIEW

“Sarah helped address my many pain problems and it lasted!”

Sarah is probably the best and most thorough medical professional I have been to. She spends so much time listening to what is going on and getting to the root cause of the pain, instead of giving quick fixes for symptoms. She helped me with terrible posture, back pain, and pelvic pain, and it has lasted. She is also very kind and hospitable, so I always felt comfortable with her. I would definitely recommend!

TIANNA WHITNEY – LONGVIEW

“Sarah goes above and beyond to help me and my healing journey”

Sarah has gone above and beyond at every single visit since I began my therapy journey a several months ago. She is attentive, compassionate, kind, highly knowledgeable and always providing absolutely amazing care at every level. My progress is slow and constantly throwing her curve balls, but she never fails to quickly establish a plan to challenge my limits without risk of injury. Cannot recommend her highly enough.
